Mewtwo's mod uses his model from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with JP's cane replaced by a spoon. The spoon is likely a reference to the Pokemon Adventure manga, where the super-powered use it as a self-defense weapon.

While the mod makes some concessions to make it work, such as no hand assembly, facial animations, and an alternate costume, the mod is oddly appropriate for a character like JP. JP uses shadowy attacks and effects that don't feel like it matches Mewtwo's aesthetic, though it's a Psychic type more in line with his aforementioned Super Smash Bros. . Ultimate.
