Was Khloe Kardashian banned from MET?

The fashion icon clears up the rumors about her and the event.

Khloe Kardashian opens up to speculations about her and the world's biggest annual event in fashion. On Tuesday, September 28, the 37-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians celebrity responded to a series of questions from fans on Twitter, including a request about a rumor spread on social media and other media outlets saying  Khloe was "prohibited" from attending the Met Gala.

The person tagged Khloé and partially tweeted: "Khloé, now that you're online, tell me if the rumors about the Met Gala are true." The person concluded with: "Please clarify, thank you." This resulted in Khloé unequivocally silencing the rumors. "Absolutely NOT true," the Good American co-founder succinctly replied. Khloe has never attended the high-profile fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute, which typically takes place on the first Monday in May in New York City and features a curated elite guest list by Vogues Anna Wintour. This year it took place on September 13 due to the Covid pandemic.

Although she never wore luxurious outfits to the party, Chloe publicly supported the arrival of her sisters there. Indeed, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner have been the main characters of the Met Gala for years, as is the mother of the Kris Jenner family. Like Khloe, Kourtney Kardashian never attended. "I seriously can't accept how amazing my sisters look today !!!! I dream about them "- Chloe wrote on Twitter about the vacation in May 2019.

Early in September, Kylie, who is expecting her second child with Travis Scott, missed the Met 2021 gala, but Kim turned caught everyone's attention on the red carpet in a mysterious all-black look designed by Demna Gvasalia, which included facial coverage. Meanwhile, Kendall opted for a beautiful nude Givenchy gown adorned with sparkling rhinestones. Just because she didn't attend the Met Gala doesn't mean Khloe doesn't like wearing fancy outfits. During the sequel to her questions and answers on Twitter on September 28, Khloe was asked about Halloween costume plans for herself and her three-year-old daughter True Thompson next month.

"We have not chosen anything yet," Chloe replied. “Usually I have gone further than now, but I can't think of anything. She really wants to be the Disney character Moana and she wants me to be a pig lol.
