The Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) Organization stated Tuesday that the grand coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 in Panglao, Bohol on Thursday, September 30, will have a limited live audience.
MUP announced on Instagram that the live pageant on Sept. 30 will only be able to accommodate 100 people. Each of the 100 "gold" tickets costs P10,000. Guests who wish to participate in the live audience must be fully immunized and have a negative swab test result.
ABS-CBN will exclusively livestream the coronation night on KTX.ph on Sept. 30, with a delayed simulcast on GMA Network on Oct. 3. There are 28 women vying for the title.
Michael Pangilinan will serenade the finalists in this year's final evening gown competition, which will be hosted by KC Montero. As the finalists sashay in their bikinis, Sam Concepcion will sing another Miss Universe Philippines original song.
From September 24 to September 30, 2021, the country's COVID-19 task group has placed Bohol under general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions.
