I think its safe for us to say that Benitez is not the future for Chelsea. I get the feeling though that hes done enough in the job to get him back on the market and give him the chance of a decent job. Theres even a few rumours that hes going Robert Covington Jersey to replace Mourinho at Madrid, sounds a bit odd for Chelsea fans but he was once a coach of their B team and is still respected for his achievements with Valencia and Liverpool in his homeland. Some would hope that Mourinho will return as the prodigal son and guide Chelsea back to their glory days but thats unlikely. Abramovich is a very proud man and I somehow get the feeling he wont hire the same manager twice no matter how good they were. I also get the feeling that Mourinho has tarnished his reputation and is heading towards a downward slope. his next job will probably be with Portugal, or perhaps City as they look set to put Mancini out of his misery at the end of the season.I thought Jurgen Klopp would be perfect for Chelsea as hes done a remarkable job with Boru sia Dortmund and looks like he could take them to another champions league succe s. Sadly though Klopp has reaffirmed his commitment to Dortmund for a few more years Minnesota Timberwolves Jeresy and probably has his eyes set on being the next Germany manager or he could be in line to replace Ferguson(much stranger things have happened). This narrows things down for Abramovich as managers are now Dario Saric Jersey looking at the Chelsea job as a poisoned chalice; one of the reasons Guardiola took the Bayern job. Abramovich is looking at a very thin list of candidates to take the job as he only seems to hire managers that have won a major continental trophy(look at the list and almost all of the managers hired have achieved continental succe s, Scolari won a world cup). Michael Laudrup has been mentioned and would seem a good fit but I dont think he wants to leave Swansea just yet as their is so much more he can do with that side. Roberto Martinez was mentioned the other day but I dont think he would last a day in James Johnson Jersey that job and probably wont get hired after relegating Wigan(prediction).There is in fact a manager without a job who was very succe sful a few years ago, has won a champions league and also took his national side to the semis in Euro 2000. Frank Rijkaard. This may sound as a shock but Rijkaard won the champions league with Barcelona and two la liga titles when Madrid were dominating with their galacticos. Rijkaard played some fantastic football with the Barcelona squad and was perfectly capable of handling a squad full of egos, Ronaldinho and Etoo just to name a couple. Since then though Rijkaard has been relatively quiet with spells at Galatasary and Saudi Arabia but is currently available and would Ricky Rubio Jersey suit Abramovich perfectly. Rijkaard would have pre sure on him but would earn respect from the Chelsea squad for his career and would probably bring some very attractive football back to Chelsea and give them a much more stable position. What may hinder him however is the Abramovich panic button, but with a manager like Rijkaard in the position hes in now, that probably wont deter him from taking the job.Rijkaard might not be Abramovichs Guardiola, but he could definitely prove himself to be.
