Eleven years after she starred in 'Glee' as Lea Michele's mom, the actress shared how she felt about landing the role during a recent questionnaire with a web magazine.

She was introduced as Lea Michelle's biological mom when she sang a duet with the actress - "Somewhere". Their resemblance caught on by avid fans of the show, "Gleeks". 

According to Menzel, her most memorable scene on Glee was singing "I Dreamed a Dream" with Lea Michelle. But she hinted that she could have taken another family role other than being a mother. "She was 26, and I probably should've been her older sister," she continued, adding, "But I don't have a chip on my shoulder about that." At the time the scene was shot in 2010, the Broadway actress and Michelle's age gap was not that wide as Idina would've been around 39 then. And if one calculates, there must be something off about it.
