Money is being poured on Batista to stay as Drax the Destroyer

Marvel makes an outrageous offer for Batista to continue as Drax the Destroyer

Because of his portrayal of Drax the Destroyer in Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy film franchise, Dave Bautista is in high demand as an actor in Hollywood. Batista had long wished for a film centered on his character, but Marvel didn't see the necessity for one, which irritated Bautista. Big Dave Bautista will depart the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise in the third film, but Disney and Marvel do not want to lose him.

Bautista has already stated that he is no longer interested in playing Drax, owing to the fact that he is no longer comfortable going shirtless in the movies. He was also sick of Drax as a character and was relieved to be free of him after Guardians Of The Galaxy 3.

Marvel isn't quite ready to let go of Dave Bautista, according to Giant Freaking Robot. Despite the fact that Bautista has lost interest, Marvel is trying to keep him by all means possible.

Among these attempts are offers of millions of dollars only to keep him as Drax in future flicks. It was not specified how many millions were offered, but it was reported to be a substantial sum.

It also seemed unlikely that they will recast Drax, but Batista hinted that this was a possibility. After Guardians Of The Galaxy 3, it's unclear whether Dave Bautista will truly cut connections with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It could be difficult to refuse such a large sum of money, and they can always give him CGI abs.
