Steve Jobs' Daughter Eve Makes Paris Fashion Week Debut

She has been sharing the runway with the likes of Gigi Hadid.

The excitement at Paris Fashion Week is palpable, but (as is customary), designers have been spicing up their runways by casting new models. Designers like Divine Nwaokogba of Prada and Naomi Ekindi of Dior have already made a name for themselves in the spring/summer 2022 season, but Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer of Coperni added to the list of rising stars to watch this morning.

Eve Jobs, the 23-year-old daughter of Apple founder Steve Jobs, made her runway debut at the show. Jobs strutted her stuff alongside regulars like show opener Mica Argaaraz, Adut Akech, and Gigi Hadid, who are already making waves in advertising (she was in the Glossier holiday campaign last year).

Piergiorgio del Moro and Samuel Ellis Scheinman, casting directors at Coperni, know how to assemble a dynamic cast. After all, they're the brains behind the Versace x Fendi "Fendace" runway in Milan, as well as Saint Laurent's cool kids. Jobs, on the other hand, added a layer to the Coperni collection.

The season's accessories included a bag called the Origami, which was inspired by the curving shape of the iPhone photo app icon, as Vaillant and Meyer told Vogue's Luke Leitch backstage. As Jobs took her first steps, the audience at the Paris Event Center all raised their smartphones to capture the moment.
