Netizens Expressed Concerns on Queen Elizabeth's Health

The latest appearance of the Royal Queen showed her holding a cane.

The 95-year-old Queen has long been seen as a tower of strength in the monarchy, so the sighting of her walking with a cane at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday has many royal watchers worried. According to Reuters, the last time she was spotted using walking assistance was in 2003 and 2004, when she underwent knee surgery. Since then, her health has been quite excellent.

Netizens have expressed their wariness about seeing the Queen using a cane.  “I know she’s 95, but it’s a little sad to see #QueenElizabeth using a cane to walk.” Others also noticed how the Queen has got thinner in her latest public appearances.

Even with a stick in her hand, the Queen looked royal and magnificent. Everyone wished the Queen good fortune.

To recall, the Queen has had an emotional year following the death of Prince Philip and monarch-related news regarding Prince Harry and his wife Meghan. Recently representatives of the couple, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have announced that they will not be returning to the UK for the tribute to Princess Diana in Kensington Palace this week.

The health of Queen Elizabeth has long been a source of discussion among royal specialists. "She has aged extraordinarily well and is the epitome of health and wellbeing," author Bryan Kozlowski mentioned in a previous interview with a newspaper company. He was so taken with her passion for life that he created a book called Long Live the Queen! 23 Living Rules From Britain's Longest-Reigning Monarch. So we should take a cue from the royal family's grandmother, who believes in "sensible exercise" like strolling her pet corgis and "simple meals" that include "the smallest slice of cake."
