Kanye West Sells Ranch for $11 Million

The singer is selling one of his Wyoming ranches while keeping his 6,713-acre mountain ranch for the meantime.

According to a magazine source, the rapper, 44, has officially listed one of his ranches for $11 million. His Monster Lake Ranch in Cody, Wyoming, is on more than 3,800 acres and is now for sale.

The "once in a lifetime property," according to DBW Realty, has rustic features such as two freshwater trophy lakes, a horse facility, cattle corrals, and hayfields. It also has more commercial aspects, such as a lodge, a huge kitchen, and a go-kart track (perfect for entertaining his four kids, so it seems).

"The views of the sandstone cliffs and Absaroka mountains make it a premier Wyoming ranch investment," per the realtor.

Kanye purchased the home two years ago after his then-wife Kim Kardashian told Jimmy Fallon that moving there was his "dream and vision."

Kim Kardashian said that he planned to spend his summers and weekends at the ranch. She also stated that the location is one of the most beautiful she has ever seen and that she cannot wait to take a vacation there.

Following these developments, many assumed that Kanye was returning to California to be closer to Kim and their children.

Kanye has another property in the region in addition to the one in Wyoming. The Bighorn Mountain Ranch has cottages and lodges, as well as rolling grass-covered hills and meadows, an outdoor kitchen, a sauna, and a helicopter pad.

Kim filed for divorce over eight months ago, maybe prompting Kanye's choice to sell his first ranch.

Despite this, they've maintained a friendly and collaborative relationship, continuing to support each other's creative projects. She wore a bridal gown to one of his Donda album events before roasting him on Saturday Night Live. Kim joked at her hosting stint on Oct. 9 that she divorced him due to his "personality," implying that they are already able to laugh about things.

Kanye apparently assisted her in preparing for SNL, and she offered a lovely tribute to her ex at the end. According to a source close to Kim, "Kanye and his family were very supportive and there for her throughout the week. She had the impression that everyone was pulling for her. She's grateful for the opportunity and has learned a lot as a result of it. It's a week she'll remember for the rest of her life."

Another source said the couple is in a "good place," adding, "They have been respectful of each other's wishes and established a good friendship."
