BLACKPINK Lisa makes it to Guinness

Lisa was officially featured in the Guinness World Records for her debut solo album title track "LARISSA" with the group "BLACKPINK" (LARISSA).


On October 6, Guinness World Records announced that Lisa's music video for "Larissa" has been named "YouTube video of the most viewed solo artist in 24 hours."

 

On the first day of its release, the music video for 'Larisa' received 73.6 million views on YouTube. Taylor Swift, an American pop singer, performed the popular song 'ME!' in April 2019. It shattered the previous record for a music video, according to Guinness (65.2 million).

 

As a consequence, Blackpink has set three new Guinness World Records for her solo album this year. Rosé's title song 'On The Ground' from her solo album 'R' became the most-watched YouTube video of a K-pop solo artist in 24 hours' and 'Both solo and group in the United States in March. It was the first musician to top the Billboard worldwide chart in the 'first artist' category.

 

"This feat accomplished by Lisa and Rosé will also be included in the social media area of the 2022 Guinness World Record Book," Guinness said of Black Pink's previous performances.

Meanwhile, Lisa's song "Larisa" was the number one song on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 72 countries. It also debuted at number one on the global YouTube Song Chart.
